InSketch ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed by MicroFish. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use InSketch.

1. Information We Collect

InSketch is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:

  • Photos: Photos you select or capture within the App are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit your photos to any server.
  • Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., app launches, feature usage) to improve the App. This data cannot identify you personally.
  • Advertising: For non-VIP users, we use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization, subject to your consent via the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
  • Subscription Data: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the App's functionality
  • To process your subscription status
  • To display relevant advertisements (non-VIP users only)
  • To analyze app usage trends and improve user experience

All image processing — including sketch effects, AI style transfer, and paper textures — is performed locally on your device. Your photos never leave your device and are not transmitted to any external server.

We do not store any personal data on our servers. Analytics data collected by Firebase is retained according to Firebase's data retention policies. You can reset your advertising identifier at any time through your device settings.

You can:

  • Opt out of ad tracking via iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking
  • Reset your advertising identifier via iOS Settings > Privacy > Advertising
  • Delete the App and all locally stored data at any time
