This Privacy Policy explains how Print Layout handles information related to you. We respect your privacy and aim to keep data processing limited to what is necessary for the app's features.
1. Information We Process
Print Layout primarily runs locally on your device. Depending on the features you use, the app may process the following information:
- photos, images, documents, canvas content, and layout data that you choose to import;
- photos you take with the camera and use for editing or printing;
- paper size, dimensions, layout, filters, background, export, and printing settings you configure in the app;
- local caches, drafts, history records, or settings needed for app operation.
As of the effective date of this policy, Print Layout does not integrate account login, advertising, third-party analytics, or third-party payment subscription services.
2. Permissions
To provide core features, Print Layout may request the following system permissions:
- Camera: used to take photos, such as ID-style photos or other images that need to be printed at an actual size;
- Photo Library: used to import photos from your library into the canvas.
You can manage or disable these permissions in system settings. If you disable a permission, features that depend on that permission may not work properly, but other features that do not require it may still be available.
3. How We Use Information
We process your information only to the extent necessary for the following purposes:
- importing, editing, previewing, cropping, arranging, and printing images or documents;
- saving local drafts, history records, user settings, and editing states;
- generating PDFs, images, or other shareable and printable output;
- troubleshooting issues and improving app stability and user experience.
4. Local Processing and Data Uploads
Photo editing, layout, preview, and export features in Print Layout are primarily completed locally on your device. We do not actively upload the photos you import or take, your canvas content, PDF files, or print content to our servers.
When you use system sharing, file saving, AirPrint, or opening content in another app, the content you select may be sent to Apple system services, a printer, or a third-party app you choose. Such processing is handled by the relevant system service or third-party service under its own rules.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:
- you have given explicit consent;
- sharing is necessary to complete a sharing, export, printing, or open-with action that you choose;
- disclosure is required by applicable laws, regulations, courts, administrative authorities, or other competent authorities;
- disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the legal rights and interests of users, the developer, or the public, where permitted by law.
6. Storage and Security
Drafts, settings, caches, or history records generated in Print Layout are usually stored locally on your device. You can delete relevant local data through app features, system settings, or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling the app may delete locally stored app data, so please back up important content before uninstalling.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the app, but no system, device, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please protect your device, system account, and exported files properly.
7. Children's Privacy
Print Layout is not specifically directed to children. Minors should use the app only with the consent and guidance of a parent or legal guardian. If a parent or guardian believes that a minor has provided relevant information without consent, please contact us using the contact information in this policy.
8. Your Rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information related to this app. Because Print Layout primarily processes data locally on your device, much of the data can be managed directly through your device, the app, or system settings.
